Running low on and useing wornout equipment . Not being replaced fast enough . Not having the latest tech to fight with .

Good question...The "lovely" government is trying to accomplish the impossible with less means. I'm in the AF and I keep seeing on the news that they, government, want to increase the military. Then my AF leadership is telling us that in the next year 40 thousand or so will have to separate...I wonder how they are going to accomplish that....Draft? Why else would anyone test the draft system?

We have adequate equipment, and I can tell you this cause I just came back for my second tour. The problem is that we are spread so thin throughout Iraq, that we are unable to conduct our mission to the fullest. I sure do wish he had sent more tropp when I was there, maybe I would have not lost so many friends this deployment. Trust me, the equipment is more than adequate, it is just that we nned more trorps there in order to be able to cover more ground, and conduct more patrols. it is hard to do so, when yo are spread do thin, that securing your A.O. (Area of Operation) takes a majority of your soldiers. we do not have the man power to do antyhing else but secure A.O and O.Ps. He did the right thing, and those pretty little tree huggers that are protesting outside of our nation's capital and our the nation, need to stop and ask us soldier what we think it is better for us, and not worry about themselves. After all while our troops are diyng, them tree huggers go home everynight to a nice bed, and warm showers, and a hot home cooked meal. So who are they to decide what is better, when we are the ones that are dying. It just shows you that there are some ignorant people out there. If they were in our shoes, trust me, they would ask for more troops also. God bless my fellow soldiers out there, and if any of you are reading this, stay low, stay safe, and see you when I get back out there.

Because truthfully the elitest that run the US couldn't care less about them. They want to start World War 3 by attacking Iran for no reason at all and destroying the middle east except leaving the oil. It is a sick plan. The Council of Foreign Relations and Henry Kissinger have a big plan for population reduction when they nuke Iran it will cause fallout and the radiation will kill almost everyone in the northern hemisphere but those pigs will go south and underground.

It's funny the way liberals work. 10 years ago we were all making fun of the Pentagon for spending too much on items and buying too many of them.
Now they're saying we don't have enough.
Neither has ever been true. We are the best equipped military in the world. We have the best technology and we have a lot of it. We're not running out any time soon.
You really need better sources.

When I was deployed to Iraq (just got back a few months ago), we had roughly 7,000 T walls, IBA vests, ACH helmets, NVG goggles, a movie theater and both outdoor and indoor olympic size swimming pool. In my own opinion, we were doing pretty good.

Our president Bush is a jerk-off and needs killin! I'll be glad when he is out of office and hopefully someone that knows what they're doing will take his place.
