Perhaps it's time to leave her and find another. I'd let her go if she doesn't like me that much, for I'd be a burden to her.

I never would have let it get this far and backed off after the first couple of tries. Short of bribery or unethical coercion you should have realized right away she wasn't interested and was never going to be. The only reason why she hasn't charged you with harassment or stalking is that she is getting a sick thrill out of tormenting you; like she derives some perverted pleasure out of keeping you on her hook. So quit beating your head against the wall and stop this morbid self abuse. The only thing sadder than this "sooo not hypothetical" situation is your futile insistence to keep chasing after her. Eight years? Come on!! No woman alive is worth this amount of trouble. Give it a long over due rest on get your life back on track. For Gods sake man! Move on!!

I think it's time to take a hint dude. I mean come on 8 years of getting rejected by a girl and you're still trying? I guess there could be situations where you might pursue a girl for a while and get rejected for certain reasons but eventually win her over but if you havn't won her over in 8 years I think it's time to just give it up.

I don't know how you could have sustain it for 8 years. I would've given up after 3 months. Bro, there are plenty of fishes in the sea. If she hasn't fallen for you in 8 years, it'll never happen. That is the truth, and I know it hurts, but you must face the truth, because the truth will set you free. Do not continue to persue her, your heart is already broken, and it will become so broken, it will eventually atomize. That means the pieces of your heart will break up into so small of pieces, you will need a microscope to find them. Be strong, set yourself free, and good luck.

But anyway if its meant its never to late for it to happen.

I would just laugh hysterically about how much time I wasted on someone who wasn't deserving of me.
