I think you are talking about a cowlick? anyway, when your hair grows out it will be harder to see the cowlick, I have a few big ones too, and when my hair was short, it stuck up in all directions. The longer it gets, the flatter it lays, and it looks much vbetter. They do not go away though!

You havent said where it is, if its at the back in your neckline (nape) then growing it will help, the weight of your hair will drag it down. If its at the front on your hairline then you wont be able to grow it long enough for it to go. Use some styling product like gel and apply to cowlick and then flatten with straighteners, you may need some help if your not used to straighteners.

I have a cowlick and my hair is semi-long, the direction of your hair won't have great versatility but it will look a lot better than something short and sticking straight up. Just grow out your hair and if you don't like it then go back to short.

They will go away. I had them when I was younger. Growing your hair longer will help because of the weight of your hair. But you can spend more time brushing/combing to acheive the same result. Not overnight, but they will go away.

when I was a little girl I had 2 cowlicks--I do have long hair now, and I dont have them anymore..might just be that I 'outgrew' them though.

when I was little I had shoulder length hair and chin length hair with bangs.
I dont have bangs anymore--my hair is all one length

It won't go , it will just be a really long cow's lick!! It will probably just go wavy.....
