Some one told me I had to put automatic transmission fluid in.

You can use tranny fluid....but on an 05 mustang? Check your owners manual for the recomended oil, it might save your warranty.

Ford has recently come ou with a special service message stating that you may use mercon V in your power steering fluid.

auto matic tranny fluid is it Ford ATFor Mercon 3 if it makes yu feel better go get a bottle of power steering fluid and put it in its all the same stuff

I suggest Lucas powersteering fluid, available @ most auto parts chain stores. It works!

NO read your owners manual or ask your ford dealer.. they keep changing there minds.. i did that and it blew seals out so read or ask dealer..
