Enjoy it. Caring too much just gets you in trouble.

I listened to a sermon for married couples. I'm not married, so you can imagine how interesting that was for me, anyway, the minister said something to the affect, "If you don't feel like your in love with your spouse anymore, make a list of things that you would do for that person if you still felt that love. Now, do those things anyway." The point he was making is sometimes caring is in the doing and not necessarily a feeling. I have put some of that into practice and I find that if I do it, the feelings tend to catch up later. I hope I helped you.

It's called depression. I don't know about a cure, but sometimes pills can help. Sometimes just talking to a counselor can help. And I don't mean a religious one! While religious guidance is important, they don't have the training necessary to help you through severe depression. Believe me, I've been there. If you decide to see a doctor or counselor, they will ask you questions like when did this apathy first begin, and lots of other things too. It's important to answer honestly. Good luck, my friend. Depression sucks.

I would read up on people like Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, and Jeff Buckley for starters. Obviously you need to seek out more people like you ~ not take stupid pills. The movie "Seconds" goes into what you're feeling and some Hermann Hesse books wouldn't hurt.

A=without, pathy=feeling. You don't sound apathetic. It is definitely curable and feeling bad about it is the first sign of emotional health returning. Sin causes apathy, so avoid it. Nurture your conscience, it's your quide to a full and healthy and holy life. Repentance from any sin in your life is crucial. Jesus saved us out of our sin not in it.

i suffer the same problem, a medical tried to fix me taking Prozac, but i'm one of many cases when the drug doesn't work, and you only have stomach pain.
Then i tried cocaine and at least that's make feel good again but the problem was that feeling don't last too much.
Now i'm really don't know what's going to be my next step, but i think we just most keeping try, if is not the religion, perhaps some acitvity that we really like.
