There are effective medications that are given in addition to counseling drug rehab patients, support groups etc. Rehab is a process not something that helps a drug addict kick the habit overnight. It takes months, even years. Medication alone cannot help a person kick the habit; also going cold trukey can be very dangerous because of the withdrawal symptoms. So, go the a rehab center with qualified medical practitioners that already know how to treat patients with substance abuse problems.

I think there are some anti-depressants that might help. This would take some research. Google it and I'm sure you'll get some good results. Good luck.

Go cold turkey....because if not, you will be just taking addictive medication to get off of that....it will be substituting an addiction for another addiction

heroin and alcohol,kills the effects of the caine........however opens up whole new set of problems.The most effective way of course,is abstinance.
