Yes, but it's true, time heals. It also depends on the person. Some people are more capable of commitment and I wonder if those are the ones that have a harder time getting over broken relationships. I think commitment is a good thing and should be much more widely used. Then maybe we wouldn't have so many unwanted pregnancies or so STD's.

I think that its possible. I had this boyfrind in Highschool who was just sooo perfect. He was beautiful, amazing..personality and looks. And for some stupid reason..I kick myself every day for this..i made out with another guy at a party. So the good guy dumped me..I went into depression..tried to hurt myself. I never forgave myself...still dont, and its 7 years later. I think he will always have a place in my heart..oh and to make it worse..when he dumped me..he told me that he was in love with me...ugh..it was horrible. The few times I've seen him since highschool..everytime i see him, my heart jumps..and i feel like i die a little..i get sad all over again

Absolutely. I'm back together with the one I couldn't get over. We were apart for more than a decade. I know that even if it doesn't work out I'll always love him.
