I saw a dead bird the other day, it had been killed by a cat, and this question sprang into my head. Where do all the dead birds go? I have never seen a dead bird fall out of the sky, and I have never seen a dead bird perched in a tree. So where are all the dead birdy bodies? I thought that they went out to sea to die, but that is just Seagulls, and then I thought that maybe cats eat them, but there would be way too many dead birds for cats to eat. Help!!! I really want to know!!!

They cannot go anywhere ... they're dead. They're just taken to the trash ... obviously you don't look for 'em in there. It's not a question of dead birds only ... have you ever thought of all the dead animal bodies? Where do they go? Do you live in a jungle? NO! You live in the city ... the city corporation takes care of it.

Well, many birds can be found on the ground dead and if not removed, bacteria and insects will break them down and like all living things get recycled into the earth. Have a nice year.

Well wild cats eat them and street cleaners send them to the trash. But I like to think that there souls go to heaven. Just a happy thought.

Depends greatly on where they land. If in the road you can see pieces of them on the tires of every car that ran them over. Yards are usually the cat or dog. Sometimes people find them and through them away.
