Relationship first, sex (which I assume you mean by being intimate) second . . . remember that for future reference. After ten dates you're supposed to be about ready to form a relationship. I think you could ask him to be your steady boyfriend any time now. Then, after about two years of that, you're ready to consider marriage. It would be wise to finish your divorce if you do not intend to get back with your husband. Good luck!
Oh, I missed the most important detail . . . he said not to like him "too much" . . . that probably (but not certainly) means that he is looking for a sexual relationship and nothing more. It's difficult to say exactly. Only you can tell, by the way he treats you and talks to you. Good night!
I see that someone recommended "The Rules" . . . I've seen some choice excerpts and I can tell you that it might keep you out of situations like this, but it could cause you to become ignorant on other issues. I would not recommend it unless you like reading books where you have to ignore half of what you read and question half of the rest. Save your money. The same goes for "He's Just Not Into You" and other books like them. They have some good info in them, but on the whole they are a lot of fluff. The main thing they do is help women avoid some bad situations. But if you do everything that they advise, like making men do ALL the work when it comes to approaching you, or playing hard to get, men who really like you will probably be turned away because they don't want to waste their time on women who don't like them. You could find all the same advice online if you wish without so much BS. Good night!

No. First of all, if the man is telling you that "not to like him too much", he probably already knows that you probably want something more serious by now, but the problem is..he doesn't feel the same. He simpley enjoys your company. And sometimes women can get that mixed up. He doesn't seem like he wants to hurt you..cause at least he is being honest with you. Now its up to you to continue this, he already told you what he couldn't give you. A commitment in the long run.

For most people it's a relationship after the second or third date.
It's definitely a relationship if you two have been intimate.
But for him it's not a relationship till he's ready. So i guess the answer is: It once was but not any more. Now your friends
(So no more intimate happenings) Just stay friends.

When he says "don't like him too much" that means he wants a relationship with NO STRINGS attached. If you're ok with that then continue, if not break it off before you really get hurt. Good Luck!

No, this isn't a relationship. A relationship is where he cares for you, listens to you, shares his life with you. This is, maybe, at best, "Friends with Benefits." I think he's using you. Back off a little. Look for someone who treats you well. Read "The Rules" and follow them, and you're more likely to find happiness.
Sorry.

No this isn't a relationship. You would know if you were in one because you two would have talked about it. If he doesn't bring it up, then you aren't in one.

well, with sex in the picture, i'd say u 2 are dating, but a relationship? he'd have to commit first.
did he make gestures or mention anything?
maybe he just wanted sex.

Sounds like he's just enjoying the companionship and sex. Sounds like that's what you should see it as and enjoy it for what it is. Or move on to someone else.
