Try highlights first if you have never colored your hair before. What color do you like on other people that have same coloring? Try that color

If you like the highlights then go a little bolder. Highlights cost a little more in salons than full dye, because of the maintenance. Only touch up the roots for full dye, highlights have too be parted and separated which takes a long time to get them to look like the first time you had them done.

Personally, i think you have beautiful hair. it looks extremely healthy and it goes well with the rest of your features. I recommend not dying your hair. But if you really have your mind set on a change, i recommend get subtle highlights that are maybe two shades lighter than your natural hair color.
Good Luck!

you may not have a difficulty appearing some highlights on your hair. on the salon they continuously do 2 tactics on my hair earlier i'm finished. go fantastically mild on the highlights so the pink receives downplayed and do truly small strands in case you are able to or have some different person do it for you so that you get all-over insurance. i'm confident it is going to coach tremendous, in simple terms make confident and do a conditioning treatment or protein spray in a while.

Your hair would look great with highlights. You could either go for subtle ones, or a lighter, bolder caramel colour. Both would look good, depends what you're after. Personally i'd stay away from the whole solid colour - too harsh on your hair and less natural looking. If you're feeling really bold go for bright red or purple streaks.

Orange high lites (muted of course), had them for a couple of years and people commented all the time about how attractive they were (well maybe orange is not the right color but they had the over tones).
