1. I was aware that it was not Gods real eye

2. I also realize you don't have anything better to do.

3. I was unaware that it had been digitally enhanced.

4. Reguardless of the enhancements it is still remarkable.

I have seen it. I actually ended up doing a report on it. I is just so breathe taking that god created such a beautiful spectacle.

I didn't Google it, but someone sent me a pic via email. It's a cool-looking cluster of stars, if I recall right. I don't think it's the "actual" eye of God any more than I think that the Tasmanian devil is "actually" the devil. I think NASA calls it the Eye of God, because it looks like a gigantic heavenly "eyeball." The Tasm. devil is so called because of it's "evil" sounding high shrilled growl.

It's not the actual 'eye of God'. 'The eye of God' is the name they gave it because it's shaped like any eye. I've seen a photo of it and it's really neat.

its an artificially colored image. an artist chose the color scheme to correspond with certain radio frequencies emanating from the nebula. with a different color scheme, it could look like anything else.
