NO. Satan is not doing it. I always thought that was a joke. ("The devil made me do it!")

People need to start taking responsibility for their actions
instead of blaming "Satan".

Light exists. Darkness is non-existence, it is the non-existence of light.
There is no planet sending us darkness. There is a planet sending us light. Light has a physical source. Darkness has none. A room "full of darkness" can be transformed in an instant by just flicking a switch and all the darkness in the universe can do nothing about it.
This analogy can be used to show that what we call bad or evil is just the absence of good. For example to be cruel is considered bad. But cruelty is the absence of a moral quality which is kindness.
Cruelty is not caused by an unknown or malefic force it is only the absence of a moral virtue which is kindness.
Satan or the Devil were pedagogical notions used to educate humanity when it was in it's infancy.
In many countries small children are warned not to walk into the darkness because there is a malefic force or person hidden in the darkness. An adult knows that this is not true however this is used to warn the child that he could get hurt if he walks in the darkness without seeing where he goes. A child can not understand a more elaborate or abstract reason. But if we tell the same story to the same child when he is grown up he will certainly laugh at the notion.

Satan may lead people to commit sins by enticing them with their own desires, but satan doesn't actually do the sin he wants people to do that by their own fre will that way he can claim their alegiance from God. He does this in many ways, but of course some people blame satan for everything which is wrong because they are the ones who do the sin not satan

Satan doesn't exist, God wouldn't allow such an evil being. People who don't want to believe in God make up the devil to worship something since they would rather not believe in God. I'm not saying that all non god believers believe in satan but just some. We sin because we have the free will and we are not perfect like him. It's the only way for our souls to grow, through our mistakes.

Satan doesn't commit sins; People commit sins - regardless of whether you believe in God and Satan or not, people are ultimately responsible for their own actions. You can't blame anyone but yourself for what you do.

think about it. When Adam and eve sinned they became imperfect. Can an imperfect person teach their child to be perfect and it work? no, can they be equal? NO!!!! No put it this way.....if you baked bread in a pan with a dent in it you would have a dent in your loaf, right? Well not matter how many times you would try it would always turn out the same, with a dent....thus are we.....one day this will be removed....but that is a more difficult and longer subject.....

Hope this is a good enough answer.

not to get into a religious debate, but i believe that it is the humans fault - not satan's - on why they sin. satan just puts the temptation out there for us humans to take up on it or pass it by.

my debate, i don't believe in sins. i believe in human nature as well as an equal balance in the world. my biggest belief is karma. and i'm wiccan.

Because of Adam and Eve. They disobeyed God and it made humans the way they are today. Satan has a lot to do with it. He is the one who put doubt in their minds
