I was dating a chick and things were great when we were together. The only setback was that her ex kept calling her and she would correspond with him while we were together. Needless to say I left her because issue with ex was too much for me to handle. Now that I'm not with her she says that the issue with the ex was just an excuse to find out if I really wanted to stay with her. The issue here is that I see myself with her. Will this ever happen again or she just manipulating guys to get what she wants?

First of all, I don't think its nice to test people espacially when it comes to ex bf. Why did she allow you to leave her in the first place if it's only a test? She could have told you then and there (that she was testing you) when you wanted to leave. Why only now? I don't think she is very honest. Perhaps she is manipulating you. And yes, she might do it again. But hey, it's your choice....if you see yourself with her then why ask this question? If you are already having doubts shows that you don't have faith in the relationship....which that I don't blame you for being this way but if you have doubts, you shouldn't go for it. Only if you a 100% gutt feeling that it will work. You don't want to be in a relationship where you will feel suspicious or unsure all the time.....it with eat you up slowly..... so think about it carefully....and good luck with whatever decision you make!

In just about all my relationships, my previous ex has always shown up and I stupidly talked to them. BIG mistake! Her ex is doing this on purpose. He knows it's going to cause trouble. There's really no reason for them to be friends unless they were friends before and agreed to remain friends and you knew about that agreement or have a kid together. She isn't respecting your feelings. It's that simple. She's trying to flip it around like it's your fault and that's not the case. If you want her back, go for it, but I suggest you tell her no more talking with the ex or you're gone. There's no way to tell if she'll talk to him again but, if you give her that ultimatum and she does it again, you'll know for sure that she would rather hurt your feelings than her ex's. You're not asking for something that is unreasonable so don't fall for her saying that you've got other issues.
