while playing golf which rules are bound? how does the points are given?

ok, first of all, u dont get points in golf, u get strokes, all your strokes on each hole are added up together and thats your score...if you get a birdy, then you get a stroke taken off of your score (good) par means your even for that hole (fair)
bogey means that youget a stroke added to your score (bad) and so on...and theres too many rules to golf for me to rite them down, cuz i have to go soon...

you dont get points in golf, you get a score...how many shots you take on each hole add up to your score...there are a lot of rules in golf, probably to many...not to many people know them all I bet...if your out playing just having fun, play how you want. but if your playing tournament golf, or for a score that is for your handicap, you should play by the rules....and like I said there is a lot.....
