I have a very big island; so the installer has to use 2 pieces of same granite to fill up the whole island. After the installation, I found out the color of those 2 granites are a little different. One is darker then the other. Is there any easier way to correct it? The granite is Tropical Brown. Thanks for the help.

Just enjoy the fact that having used a natural material you have a natural result and that your counter is so NOT corian! The variation is just testament to your use of nature's stone and not some man-made cookie cutter mass produced been there done that! You will enjoy your granite very, very much!

Granite is a natural product that has color variations even from adjacent pieces as they came off the stone. To maintain the natural appearence of the granite you will just have to get used to the fact that there is a color variation. I suppose that you "could" use some sort of dye to attempt to change the color, but the risk that something could go horribly awry seems too be to great for something as expensive as granite.
