Before you get caught? If this is what you are worried about, you are probably not ready to get married. Marriage is a serious commitment between two equals, to spend the rest of their lives together. I'm concerned that may be your 'boyfriend' who is a lot older than you, may be taking advantage of you. I'm sure you don't think so now, but believe me, you may be about to do something that you regret. Just stop and think. Wait until you are legally able to marry, for starters. We have those laws for a reason. Talk to you parents, because if you have good ones, they will only want what's best for you. If you don't have parents or don't trust them, talk to someone else that you trust. Talk to a counsellor, or a teacher. Get some advice about your situation, and DON'T RUSH INTO ANYTHING!!!! Good luck.

I'm afraid you are going to have to wait until you are 18 to get married in the US. Some states still require you to have your parents sign at 18. Try TN when you turn 18.
As for the Tupelo MS thing... I live in MS and you have to be 21 to get married without your parents signing for it.
If you are scared that you are going to get caught... that is one HUGE sign that you SHOULD NOT be doing it. Think about it... if it was truly love everyone would already know. That is not an emotion that you can hide. Are you sure this guy is worth it? Marriage is a serious step and it is not for the light hearted. Make sure you know this person before you say "I do". It only take a few minutes to get married... but it is a lifetime of commitment to make it work.

Real love is forever, which means you don't need to be in a hurry.
If he really loves you, he'll wait for you to not only be of age, but to finish college, and get a career.
If you have to say "before we get caught", you're both too immature to get married.
And where I'm from, you can't get married at 17 without your parents' permission.

You may have no choice but to wait until you are of legal age. Unless you can get parental consent. Check out Mexico, but I don't think it will be considered legal in the U.S. Good Luck

Huge, huge mistake!!!!!! Wait until you're older and have some education. If he's worth it, he'll wait. Otherwise, he might just like teenage girls, and he'll replace you when you hit 20. Ask yourself, who has he been dating all this time? Does he always like younger women? Something is really wrong here. Really, wait until you're older. No one ever said, "I really regret waiting." But they often say, "I'm sorry I jumped in so soon."

Um, I don't think that is such a good idea. You are too young. Wouldn't you rather wait until you know he is the one and it won't end in divorce. A day you can have your friends and family ther? wait and do it right, it iwll never last.
