See american foreign policy in Latin/South America and the eventual creation of a south american union.

Policy Policy Policy.

We gave tax dollars to saddam and OBL. Think about it. We cant always be pacifist, but we are so far away from it now, we think we we fly a few planes over east africa and drop a few bombs that kill a few innocent civilians, we think little of it.

that anger is born out of people who feel they lost loved one in an unjust way. Not all people react that way, but some do.

How do you make amends with someone when you killed their mother by mistake?

Opening of hearts. Giving. Love. All that stuff that Christmas should really be instead of what is has become.

Education. Jobs. Hell, an entire culture shift.

If you look at the places most of the terrorists are coming from you'll see that they have fairly high unemployment rates. Even those that have college educations are having problems getting jobs to due the class/caste system. One good example is the leader of the 9/11 hijackers. He couldn't get a job with the egyptian government due to his class (he came from a poor working family) and nepotism, even though he was far more qualified than the man who got the job.

It must start with reevaluating our foreign policy and learning to compromise with our advesaries. In other words...perhaps we need to identify the bottom line as to why more and more countries are developing a mistrust of the American government and tackle those issues. Unfortunately, that would involve alot of backstepping and pride swallowing. Painful...yes, impossible...no. That means sitting down with Venzuela, Cuba, N. Korea, and Iran. Pulling all U.S. military presence out of the Middle East and not taking sides with the palestinian/Israeli conflict (thats' an issue for the U.N. whether they like it or not). I think in the long run we may be able to aside our differences and therefore the threat would eliminate itself. This may also resolve our economic and petrolium demand issues. It's easier to do business when not everybody hates you. If violence and strife develope within the midde east tahen we need to stay out...observe and let the fever burn itself out....or let the U.N. handle it...LOL. In conclusion, if anyone still wants to provoke us after we've laid out the peace pipe...then we make them glow for the hundred years...nuff said.

This is question that i posted a while back and seemed to work wonders. It is extreme but it works

"Just before World War I, there were a number of terrorists attacks on the United States forces in the Phillpines by Muslim extremists. So General Pershing captured 50 terrorists and had them tied to posts for execution. He then had his men bring in two pigs and slaughter them in front of the now horrified terrorists. Muslims detest pork because they believe pigs to be filthy animals. Some of them simply refuse to eat it, while others won't even touch pigs at all, nor any of their by-products. To them, eating or touching a pig, its meat, its blood etc. is to be instantly barred from paradise (and those virgins)and doomed to hell. The soldiers then soaked their bullets in the pigs blood, and proceeded to execute 49 of the terrorists by firing squad. The soldiers then dug a big hole, dumped in the terrorist's bodies and covered them in the pig's blood, entrails, etc. They let the 50th man go. And for the next forty-two years, there was not a single Muslim extremist attack. Maybe it is time for this segment of history to repeat itself! The question is, where do we find another Black Jack Pershing?"

It all boils down to our lifestyles, religion, and freedom. Noody likes americans because we do pretty much what we want. We are not muslims so therefore we either in there eyes have to convert or die. And finally we have all the things they don't money, education, and freedom. It will probably never end and we need to keep the fight were they are instead of letting them bring the fight to America.

Education, Understanding, negotiation, Tolerance, Compassion, Imagination. Violence against violence has never worked, unless you wish to completely annihilate people, rather than live with them.
