The reason most people fail with diet and exercise ,is because they lose sight of the reasons they started an exercise program in the first place. In order to see results of an exercise plan you have to ask yourself these questions: Why do I want to start an exercise and diet plan? Why is this important to me? How will I feel once I've achieved my desired fitness goal, and how would I feel if I don't stick to my diet and exercise plan.
In order to fully commit to something, you have to really want it and go after it no matter how hard it gets, or how tired you may be. When you come to a point where you start getting frustrated and want to give up, just remember the reason you started the exercise plan in the first place, then keep on going. "You can do it." "GOOD LUCK."

diets dont usually last because it involves deprivation. try a healthier lifestyle involving some exercise. it doesnt have to be the gym or jogging. try something you like (ballet lessons, dance classes, taking long walks) and you're more likely to stick to it. dont be so concerned about over-exerting yourself initially - just start doing it regularly and get into the habit of doing the activity X number of times per week. then you can start challenging yourself by working harder at it. get yourself little gifts to motivate you, like maybe buying something that you know you wont look good in unless you lose a few pounds. also, healthy food doesnt have to be boring or unappetising. maybe once every other week, treat yourself to a salad/vegetarian meal etc at a nice restaurant.
if you can, find a friend who will exercise with you - it really helps on those days when you just feel like sitting on the couch :)
good luck!

Plan ... make it easier for you to stay on your eating plan. Keep all of the bad things out of the house and your reach.
Get a crock pot --- make up a vat of healthy food that you like and can eat as much of as you want --- vegetable soup. Lowfat chili etc
Collect healhy recipes... make something new and fun at least once a week.
Enjoy your food as much as before, and enjoy your new healthier body.
remember that it will be slow and you will slip up. But forgive yourself and start right back.
You will have friends who may want to go out for dinner and a movie....go to Applebees...they have weight watchers food. Or say sorry..can't make dinner ..but I will meet you at the movies.
Bring your own lowfat popcorn and buy a drink.
See it as a challenge...you can do it...I know you can.
