Well just go. You don't need the pastor's permission. Church is wonderful to me. It helps me to become stronger, to feel the holy spirit and gives me a chance to be among others like me. I suggest picking one out and go on Sunday. Couldn't hurt. I hope this helps. I wish more people would ask serious questions like this. God Bless you. I will pray for you

It's great that you wanna go to church. You don't need to say anything to a pastor, just walk inside. Different churches have different ways of doing things, so I can't tell you what it's like, but the main purpose people go there is to worship God and grow as a family. Church is free. You don't need to pay to get inside.

Q:How do you go to church? A: walk in the door preferably dressed.
Q: What would you say to a pastor? A: Hi, i am a mindless idiot, i can't think for myself, i need someone to tell me what to believe and what to do.
Q: And what is Church like? A: Have you ever been to a brainwashing clinic. Alot like that,,,,, no actually ... just like that
Q: Is church free? No, it will cost you 10% of your gross earnings, and oh yeah, your free will and lucid thought.

To answer your primary question last! I don't, if i did it would be bound gagged and drugged or kicking and screaming.

you just show up, you don't have to introduce yourself to anyone. It doesn't cost. I would just go and watch.. It actually takes about 2 years of going to a new church to really feel like they are your family. It can be a great place to 1. find God and 2. have an extended support group.

You just go, you dont have to ask. Church is free to everyone. You go, you sing, you listen to the pastor preach, you pray, then go home. Good luck.

How do I go to church? I don't!!! Church is lame!

Only time I step foot in a church is for a wedding or a funeral. Even then I can't stand being there, listening to the BS that comes from the priest!

You just go and sit, watch and listen. When the collection plate comes around don't feel obligated and just enjoy meeting new people after if you stay around for a bit, and if not that's okay too.

I've historically gone in a car.

Do you have to pay? No. But they often get snooty if you don't put an offering in the plate.
