HIV can be treated fairly effectively with a combination of antiviral drugs. Unfortunately there is nothing that can cure HIV, because HIV inserts a copy of it's genetic material into the chromosome of it's host. This acts as a reservoir, such that even if you rid the body of all active HIV the infection can restart if drug treatment is discontinued.

People with HIV are living 25 years after their original positive test. And with advances in care and meds they will probably live a lot longer than than.

i am hiv positive and there is no way u can ever imagine that looking at le thanks to modern medicine and all

on the other hand i when i was attacked my armed robbers and thought i was going to be killed i felt sory of cheated out bc i always knew i would die bc of hiv complications
