The idea of a "fundamentalist Wiccan" is itself almost an oxymoron. We're not known as "joiners" or "group-think" types of people. Also, since we have no single authority (book or person) from which to get confirmation of our beliefs, we learn early on to go deep within ourselves for the truth, and so we're not as threatened by others who say we don't know it--we're just that sure that, for ourselves if for nobody else, we do, and it doesn't matter what they think.
The only "Wiccans" I've ever seen causing any kind of trouble have been newbies who have joined for the wrong reasons and haven't yet learned the right ones. As with almost any religion, the new converts--in their excitement at their new life--can be a tad... zealous. For the most part? Wiccans are very peaceful.

Well, mostly because they don't really need to. Wiccans love everyone, or at least most everyone. The only people that Wiccans would try to cause problems with would be fundamentalist Christians, and they don't even do that! Despite the fact that fundies are always stomping all over paganism and magick and goddess worship, and even sometimes just Halloween. Could you imagine if some religious group as huge as Christian fundamentalism made public statements about not giving their kids presents at Christmas, or not letting their kids collect eggs at Easter? Christians would be up in arms! the Armageddon would be coming early. Anyway, I'm ranting. Wiccans are basically hippies, and I'd say that's mostly why.

answer: most of the others are relatively incorrect. no longer all Wiccans are witches, some are. Wicca is a faith, one among various pagan religions. that's a suitable, existence putting forward faith. even with what fundies have faith, it is not Satanic or evil. maximum Wiccans do have faith in reincarnation, karms, respecting existence and others, dissimilar deities and celebrating the turn of the seasons with trip journeys and finished moons. Witchcraft is the prepare of magic - elevating power, directing that power in direction of a specifc purpose and grounding any extra power - like prayer.

Because they don't? Or we are meant to believe they hadn't. Fundamentalists from other religions were known for killing Wiccans and others. I'm not saying that they are angels, so to speak.

because Pagans in general have a live and let live belief system. when we see someone that is trying to use one of our religions to push a political agenda the mass of people quickly detach themselves from the trouble makers.
last year there was a Wiccan group in florida trying to have the tax exempt status for bibles removed. i contacted them and asked why they do not fight for equal rights for everyone and not try to revoke the rights of others. they replied that no religion should have any special tax exempt status.
this was clearly just a bunch of people with a political agenda. and it went NOWHERE. because nobody would jump their bandwagon. we have more importent things to do. like fight for religious freedom for EVERYONE. to waste time trying to infringe on someone elses rights.

I would imagine because there are so few of them compared to other religions. About 99.9% of the US Population are not Wiccans according to this website.

Wicca practices what it is......
beside the 3 or 7 fold law (depending on tradition) is a bear.
Love is the best path, unconditional love, nothing is required, nothing is expected, just freely giving unconditional love.
we all know that unconditional love is not the foundation of christianity nor of islam, nor of jewish, these practices require the followers to do certain things to prove there devotion, that is a condition and is NOT LOVE
