Is it an outside wedding? I got married in August. I went w/ not so typical summer outdoor wedding colors. I did a pretty pale yellow and a burnt metallic orange. It turned out really pretty. The girls wore pale, sparkly gold-like shoes and bags & earrings that matched the dress. If you are near a David's Bridal, go there; that's where I got the dresses. Or, you can also do something w/ a mint green; that was my first choice, but I could not find and any pretty dresses in that color. Or something with any variation of pink. Good luck and Congrats!!! :)

It's summer, I would go all out with the colors. Bright & bold. For day time:
lemon yellow& white
Pink& green
Yellow & green
turqouse blue, white and Navey
Yellow, orange, green
For night:
Pink & brown
Teal, Brown & white
Wedding colors have gotten very bold and contemporay. There is no need for the "typical" pastel wedding, unless thats what you want.
P.S.
Brighter colors look less washed out in the pictures

I am a firm believer that the best colors for any wedding are the colors that the bride and groom love. These usually are colors that look good on the bride and groom and will make the bride and groom look great! But my I do love navy blue because it is classic and everybody looks good in blue!

It depends on the location and formality of the setting too.
All the colors of summer are appropriate for June weddings.
The favorite colors of the bride and groom are always best.
Decide first how formal the wedding will be then choose location - it really is up to the bride and groom -

I would stay with pastels and lighter colors. June is the begining of summer and end of Spring, don't try and go too bold with the color scheme; it won't match the season. I would go with light pink, white (off white or ivory can be used instead of just white if you prefer), peach, light purple...you know these kinds of colors. Good luck with your wedding and congratulations!

There are a lot of pretty orange and sage colors....I guess it all depends if it's indoor or outdoor? Mine is in July and it's outdoor so my colors are orange, sage and a few others.... You can get your color idea's from looking at flowers and things like that. That is how I got my colors because I love tiger lilies....

Summer is all about abundance and happiness,so go for vivid, brilliant colours like deep yellow, gold, crimson and lots of deep greens.
I think mix roses are nice for summer especially those orangy ones, pale yellow with green edging or the champange ones with the pinkish edge.Check out this sites for roses and bouquet ideas.

There are no "good colors" only good color combos...go to a local craft store and buy yourself a color wheel. I know, I know it sounds like a art class gone bad, but trust me, it will help a LOT!! Pick your color combos with that...take it with you and compare fabrics. It will work wonders...

if it is an outside wedding, do not use blue, coz the sky is already blue , use white or yellow instead. If it is inside, use light blue
