Maybe never. I had several cats from 2 different litters from the same mom. One of them was very weird while the others had very nice personalities.
The weird one, Makami (Hawaiian for precious) was cross-eyed from a bit of Siamese and generally ugly as she had inherited the worst from both her mom and dad.
When we would try to pet her she would lower her body to the ground and slink away so as to not be touched--and this was gentle touching.
Although as a kitten she was never treated differently from the others, she was always very jealous and always beat up on the others. She especially hated her little sister Puss who was a very beautiful, totally symmetrical cat. One time she beat up on Puss so bad that she took a big chunk (about the size of a nickel) out of her ear.
This has gone on for five years.

It takes time. Typically kittens are better at adapting to new cat additions than adults are. These 2 you got are from the same litter, but they've been separated for 4 weeks and will need time to re-adjust to each other. The nice thing about cats though, is that most of the time, if they don't like something, and can avoid it, they will. Unlike dogs, where if you have 2 that don't like each other you constantly have to keep them separated. But I'm sure that they will learn to get along with time and effort, and you will have to inseparable kitty buddies.

I would separate them for a while. Put #1 in the bathroom and let #2 smell the room that held #1. Then switch. Then they will get used to each other's smell. then let them be together for a few minutes. If they fight, separate them again. It may take a few weeks for them to decide they like each other. I got two cats at the same time that were NOT from the same litter. At first they were not too fond of each other. Now they sleep together and lick each other.

They will get along in time. Cats just get jealous like humans. We have 2 cats from the same litter, that are about ten years old now. They both still fight one minute, and then they will be best buddies the next. Just give it time.

Firstly, it does take a couple of weeks for them to adjust to a new cat. Secondly, kittens play-fight a LOT.
So chill, enjoy the antics, and keep a camera handy! In a few days, they'll pass out all tangled together.

They should eventually get over it. The same thing happened when I got my cats I got the female at first and got the male 3 weeks later she bullied him for a bit but now they r fine and play together all the time.

My cat behaved simular when he was younger, he used to be so rough but after a month or so, he finally accepted the kitten a little more. It just takes time if it's going to work.

they will get along but they may decide that they just don't like each other and in which case they will just sleep in different rooms and wont play together but this is a very small chance of that happening. they are both young and you have got plenty of time for them to bond. when cats fight they make a lot more noise than is needed it always sounds worse than it is.
i suggest that you get catnip spray, get lots of toys and play with them both in a room that they are both happy. but don't worry it will pass. time is the best healer of all.

If you have two males the fighting will probably not stop but if you have a male and a female or two females the fighting will stop soon unless one gets pregnant! Trust me, I have 8 cats right now and at one time my family had twenty-three!
