And why is writing or not writing a condition for perfection? A lot of other people have written about Him. Some wrote of Him in prophesies before He was ever born. Some were eye witnesses to Him. He has been written about for centuries and still people don't believe. Had He written His own things, would people believe then? Would they still reject? Would they want proof positive that He wrote it and not somebody else? We have His word. We have information about Him Do we accept and believe it as we should?? Lets use what we have and go from there. PS the Bible teaches that writings contained in it are the INSPIRED word of God.

He knew that whatever was eventually written had to survive the editorial attentions of the forces of the world (medieval Roman church, Saul Antichrist, etc), and still get to the eyes of those who 'could see' and the ears of those who can 'hear'.

Besides, the writing is far less important than the reality. The believers could have continued even without the 'completion' of the bible and the growth of the churches, and whenever two or more believers gather in His name, He is there and can be listened to directly (if anyone will take the time to do so).

Writing down your own story spells conflict of interest. It is called self-promotion, where you see authors of books going through the media circuit to extol the virtues of their books. Jesus' life as chronicled by other eye witnesses will be more credible because they are impartial observers of what He actually did. Imagine writing your own book telling stories of how you raise the dead, how you healed the lame, cured the blind, walked on water without corroborating witnesses, then people will accuse you of self aggrandizement.

P.S. Jesus Christ is perfect. He was the firstborn of all creation, created by God himself. Since Jehovah is the epitome of perfection, everything he creates is perfect. Even Adam was created perfect. He lost perfection when he disobeyed God and ate of the fruit of the forbidden tree. This imperfection he passed along to us, that is why we suffer pain, get hungry, get sick and die. Gen 2:17 "For in the day you partake of the fruit, you will definitely die"

Jesus has his own "Injil" or Gospel which was given to him by God.. unfortunately, the original Gospel of Jesus has lost.

Thats why there is no Gospel of Jesus, all the existance Bible now is written couple of years after Jesus gone based on the oral history. Whats more.. 80% of New testament contents is Pauls letter!

The Bible compiler just pick the scriptures they want. None was originally from Jesus Gospel.

The question isn't "if".....because Jesus is perfect. And He did write the story....He is the story.....Jesus is the Word.

Right on, CHOPPER, Jesus IS the word of God. And besides, if Jesus wasn't perfect, you think the Bible would have survived so much and still be, what, the no.1 bestseller in the world?

Jesus is the WORD OF GOD

(John 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

(John 1:14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

I don't see any connection between being perfect and writing your own biography. There are many autobiographies in print, all of them written by imperfect people.

Jesus wasn't perfect because nothing is perfect, he had his flaws even the Second coming is not perfect because he was ravaged by Satan nearly killing him he recovered and I'm now the second coming.

Praise the lord, thank god, I love you all, see you guys in 2012.
