This is the first time I have ever filed taxes. This is the first time I ever had a job. I worked 2 part time jobs this year..On one of them I made under $200 dollars for the whole time I worked there (i got two paychecks) . On my second job that i started in Oct. and I am currently at My total earnings for the year was $1,465.86 and the amount I paid in taxes was $277.91. I am pretty sure when I started my job on my tax forms I filed Married, Single, No Dependants..should I expect to get any money back or will I be paying money?? PLEASE HELP!!

I meant to include this earlier but forgot...I was also a full time student until June of 2006 will the change anything?

I got married in September 2006. I started the one job in September as a temporary help and then my other job I started at the first of October.... I had never worked before this because I was a full time student.

Being a student for all or part of the year will have no effect on your taxes.

Since you got married in 2006, you can file jointly with your husband, or as married filing separately. Assuming he had income, and it was more than you had, he probably has to file. The two of you filing a joing return is probably the best way to minimize taxes.

well im guessing that your young so are you married? idk but you can do your own taxes right online yourself by goin to irs.com....you have only had 2 jobs so your taxes would be easy to do....its not like you have kids and a house blah blah blah lol....but everyone is different so idk...
