above answerer is correct. the only time to worry is when the mother and child have different +/-.. but even then its not so dangerous now a days because the dr can monitor and medicate to avoid complications.

Relax and start planning on how good of a father you are going to be. its obviously you're on the right track if your already worried about your child.

No, this will cause absolutely no problems whatsoever! In fact, its a "security card" that your child will not have any blood-group related complications.

The problem occurs when the mother is "negative" and the father is "positive". The "positive" trait is passed on to the child, which is incompatible with the "negative" of the mother. However, even in this situation, there is preventative treatments to ensure the child's safety. Good luck!

A woman's body may try to fight off a foreign blood type, seeing it as an illness. There will only be problems for the mother during the pregnancy, extra morning sickness, etc.

Assuming that the two of you have the same blood type, there should be no discrepencies. Your wife should have a happy and healthy pregnancy!!

no - from what know - it's usually an issue when the mother has a negitive blood type - like I do - you have to get a certain shot at 4 months into the pregnancy and after giving bith but that is for -A blood type -

have no worries..

That's false, maybe who ever told you that was confusing the same blood type with the parents being related.

No, it's when one is + and one is - that you can have trouble (It's fixable, but the doctor needs to pay attention.)

Same blood type will mean that you already know what your child's blood type is!!

Congrats & find something else to worry about :-)
