after two kids ( 6 yrs old and 6 months old) I'm the same clothing size as I was pre-pregnancy, yet I weight 10 lbs more. I was 105-107 before each child, now I'm 116 and still size 1. How does that happen?

My hips are a bit wider and it is new jeans and old ones. I'm not lying, I have pictures of me taken over the Christmas holiday. My sister is the same way. Nope, butt didn't grow, I wish I had a butt.

I'm happy about the weight gain, finally over the 110 mark. I use to weight lift before my 6 month old was born. Boobs aren't as big as with my son. I did drink TONS of milk with both kids.

Are you wearing the same clothes, or buying new? Sizes have shrunk a lot in recent years. I used to wear an 8 or 10, now I'm a 4 or 6. Ten pounds isn't all that much, though, on an average sized frame. Often it's in the hips - you'd still wear the same size even if your hips were another inch larger in diameter (I weigh the same as before pregnancy, but my hips are definitely an inch wider!).

If you used to weight lift it probably means your weight is attributable to *muscles* rather than fat. When you put on muscles you look tinier than your actual weight.
I went from a size 4 and 113 lbs to a size 2 (that is becoming big) and 120 lbs.

maybe the weight isn't just in your pants area. maybe you're boobs are heavier with milk, you gained muscle with lifting and carrying kids, or the excess weight is in your arms, belly and legs. but i wouldn't complain about gaining weight if i were you. lol. i'd be lucky to fit my big toe into size one pants.

Maybe you drank much more milk than before having children, so your bones became a bit heavier. This could be a reason

You built muscle. That kind of happened to me. You probably look skinnier too. Having more muscle than fat makes you look skinnier. Muscle weighs more than fat.
