You want my opinion? Well, you are one lucky guy and that you should know. 4 years! That’s quite some time. Thank God for that. Nowadays it’s rare to get people to stay than long in a relationship and even in a marriage.
Dirty emails? Just that? That’s nothing to what is happening around you. That’s a fact and you know it. It’s not like you caught her doing something nasty. How many times have you seen a cute girl and had thoughts about her. A lot of guys do that and don’t tell me you are different.
The decision you make now will determine what kind of a person you are and will be. Are you going to run away and look for someone else? And if they too make a mistake, what will you do? Why not stay and sort this out? Don’t loose hope in her especially if she apologized. We are human and we are bound to fail somewhere. And we need to be given a second chance.
4 years is just too much of a time to throw away. What if it where you? Would you want her to leave you? God! We are not perfect and we will never be. We are just ordinary people.
My opinion? Stay! Don’t think twice about it. Just stay. I bet she makes you happy. To tell you the truth, it’s hard to find people who make us happy. Stay with her…

It depends. Do you beleive her that it was just the e-mails? If no, you're relationship is probably in big trouble. If yes, consider visiting a couples counselor to help you work through the issues arising out of this "betrayal". It may be that this is just a sympton of some things you and your girlfriend need to get out in the open. Don't think of counseling as a death sentence for your relationship. The idea is for a professional to help the two of you work on your relationship without tearing it apart. Good luck.

Just emails, well it's cheating though. She's had the thoughts and expressed them in emails. If she gets away with this it will only make it easier for her to rationalize doing that again or perhaps going further. It was only talking, it was only a movie, it was only dinner, it was only light kissing. It's up to you to determine the trust level, but that would be a red flag for me.

Dude, confront her more than once. What exactly is the real purpose of the emails if she means its just only the emails! Why even them?
Does she think he is able to satisfy some fantasies of her? Then ask her if she has any, and that you are more than willing to experiment! And not to spoil 4 yrs of relationship that you have shared with her.
Ask her what she would do/think if she were in your position!

Tough decision..
You don't want to marry a girl you are already doubtful about...
Explain the situation as you see it to her and tell her of the
dilemma it has created for you and the future of the relationship..
Ask her how you are to regain your faith & trust in her...
This could be a deal breaker because you don't really know if
she is telling you the whole truth...

She should be emailing you things not someone else. Why would she be interested in talking to someone else in a dirty way? Think about it. That isn't being loyal to you. I think it is hard to trust someone after you find out they are sneaky because then you wonder if you really know that person. Good Luck!

one thing i got to say. there is NO reason for someone who's in love, to be emailing dirty messages to someone else. NO REASON!!! if they try to make a reason and an excuse, then maybe you don't have the relationship that you want to believe that you do have.

no longer some thing's going on between them. yet in case you nevertheless behave like a ****, he would grow to be her crying shoulder quickly sufficient. A crying female is common to take earnings of. to boot if she cries, she has good reason to leave you. Play this heavily and believe your female friend. If no longer, chop up and flow on.

Why would she "only" be sending e- mails. That doesnt make sense. Trust me, shes done more than just sent e-mails. Lose her, your better off without some dirty e-mail freak. Break up with her in an e-mail.
