I heard that if you guys don't give out a few tickets than you can be fired or low pay.

Are you really honest all the time?


If you make an arrest, say for little things like J-Walking maybe....Do you have to go through a lot of BS like maybe finger printing the arrest guy and other crap?

I heard that you have to be in shape like all the time but how come I see some cop really out of shape. ARE THEY UNDERCOVER?

Last one!! I'm about 5'5 to 5'6 and weight right now 140lbs. Think I can make it as a police. What position fit me best?

We can never be *really* honest.

Standard procedures are indeed numerous, but these are not really BS.

It's only the "field" cops who must be in shape. The out of shape guys are usually "clerks", so they don't have to be undercover; it's only sometimes when they are, because of their inconspicuous look.

You are a little bit short for your weight. You could apply for a clerical or any indoors position, although I think they won't really take that into account.

The first question is allegation from the outside. (its a gossip) No truth about it. Sometimes a lie should be done but not always, It depends on the situation. It is always a procedure in criminal cases where offenders be subjected to fingerprinting for records purposes. Regarding the shape of a police officer, it depends on your body built, but of course you have the ab ility to run after the criminals. Undercover assignment of police are on selection basis. You can not just apply to be a a police. You should pass the examination either written or oral , no criminal records, a degree holder,pass the psychiatric examination, physically fit for work, pass the medical examination , pass the rigid oral interview and others. You are not yet fitted for the position, unless you will be tested on all around work. You cannot select your position.

If you wanna be involved in law enforcement, i would say go and be a lawyer better pay and less bull to deal with.
