Do you know anybody who was able to see before but went blind completly ( it's rare to go blind completly but it happenes)? If so, what color do they see now? Is it only Black/Darkness? or since they are blind, and have no connection to the brain, do they just loose that sense completly?Even though they knew what that sense would be before in their life?

Blind people that were born blind, don't know the meaning of colors anyways, so i guess they can really tell if it's black that they are seeing?

I read another comment from other simular questions like this, and a woman was saying that her cousin went blind completly, but she could still imagin shapes in her head when touching something..

Just wondering

Yes, they only see black.
Closing your eyes cuts of light from entering the network of the eye and that's why you see black when you shut your eyes, save for a little light through the eyelid.
Close off the light permanently and it's complete blackness.

I have two acquaintances that have gone blind from sight and both told me they see only black. When they access their memories, then they see the memories in colour because it's the brain storing the images, not the eye.

I had a friend that was blind, but he didn't just see black. He could tell when there was light. This doesn't help much

This is what I understand, people who were born blind have nothing to compare sight to since they don't know nothing of it. So therefore, their other senses are more enhanced such as hearing, it almost becomes their sight.

Thats something you'd have to ask a blind person only. A person that has complete vision can't answer your question.
