Simple programs can sometimes be installed to a local file in My Documents. Anything complex that uses the registry will not install locally. You need your Administrator at your business to install it. Which is precisely the purpose of having an adminstrator--limiting the user from installing a bunch of stuff to a business computer.

All that you need is a log in with administrator's privileges and legal software and you will not have a problem. Plan what you will need for the business, start with a good operating system and go from there. Good luck.
