Bought it 2002 and with the Iraq situation we left it on a lot and got red line burn-ins. Do not believe any relation but I could fix this by replacing the R CRT??

The turning off is far more bothersome as it might stay on for only 15 min until I removed back panel and took out of the built-in could I watch the b-ball game fully... Looking on the order site at Pioneer I wonder if it's the Power Assy? No power surges as I've got Monster. Please advise and thanks!

The brighter the TV , the hotter it gets.
If you are in Vivid mode, go to Standard or User modes and reduce brightness as much as you can.
If this continues, it is time for a service call
