is there any way to calculate your tax return(without going to a tax person) i want to get an idea of how much doesnt have to be exact.

P.S for the people with dumb comments or answers please save it.

hrblock.com has a free tax calculator. you can use your last pay stub to get the numbers. there are pretty many free estimators. do a search on yahoo for "free tax return estimate 2006". hope this helps and you get a big return!!!

It depends on how complicated your return is. If you have your own business, for example, might get pretty complicated to do. If you just have salary and maybe some interest or dividends, should be doable.

If nothing much changed from last year, figure you'll come in about the same as last year. I know, that was too easy.....

If you want to put info here like your income, amount withheld for federal taxes, filing status, number of dependents, ages of kids if applicable and if they're in school if they're over 18, any other income you have; if you itemize, a rough idea of what you have for deductions - somebody will probably give you a rough estimate.

I'm unaware of U.S tax laws.The best advice I can give is that tax is a legal question,never a moral one.

yea there are several sites online just some of the questions (like employer id number) you can put in bogus numbers unless you actually know it.
