An Alcoholic dos not need to be one how drinks an excessive amount of Alcohol. An Alcoholic is one who has to have a drink to function at party's and to socialize.An Alcoholic is one who needs a drink at night to sleep and enjoy life.It is not a problem until it affects their functioning routines in their jobs and life.

the amount of alcohol someone consumes does not determine alcoholism. alcoholism arises when drinking becomes a problem. this can be 1 drink or 10 drinks.

i come from a long line of alcoholics and it doesn't matter the number,as long as they can get their hands on one they are going to drink even if they are drunk they will still drink.

i dont think its just how much they drink in a day

i think it has a lot to do with how much,how often, if it affects there normal life, i.e work or what have you.
