There are no differences between a Sunni or Shia mosque (not called temples by the way). In fact most Sunnis and Shias pray in the same mosques as Islam is all about unity, not discrimination against one's sect, race, or nationality.

Sunnis and Shias in Iraq don't get along for political reasons, that's why they may prefer to pray in different mosques.

The best way to find out is to actually attend these mosques to experience it for yourself or simply ask Muslims who are from those two religious denominations.

I am afraid there is no difference in the structure or the arrangement of things inside. You need to ask around from the people who live close to that particular mosque.
They will chant the same Azzan and it will be similar people walking in and out of the mosque.
If you ask around, it should not take you long to figure out which is which.
Cheers.

The difference is mainly in the way they pray. However, there is no difference in the architectural aspects of both the denominations' mosque.

Just ask someone nearby (the site) and you'll find out which is which.

After Muhammed died there was a big debate about who should take over!
One group thought that Abu Bakr should lead (you know the man who's daughter Muhammed raped)

Another group thought that Ali should lead

So they split!
