Contrary to the other answer, I pay about $15- a month. I live in San Francisco, CA. I get "decent channels" such as Food Network, BET, Travel, Oxygen, Discovery and of course the local channels. You should check out your cable provider's list of channels for the basic package. Good luck!

Yes, it does depend where you live. Also consider basic satellite, which can often be even cheaper.

depending on where you live i'd say between 40 and 50 dollars
