Religions always hide the intelligence level of the ancient people who wrote the Bible, Koran etc. If you could go back to those ancient times with a cigarette lighter and lit it, everyone dropped to their knees and worshiped you as God because you could make fire come from your hands, where they had to work for 20 min to produce a flame. Anthropologists have opened up 20,000 year old caves that showed on the walls charcoal drawings made by the people back then of the animals of their land and also people in flying saucers. These images didn't come from their imagination, they drew what they saw. When people who also thought that the Earth was flat saw something like this they called it God or certainly a higher power. So many times the Bible (and probably the Koran) states, "A Great Noise came out of the Sky" or "A Flaming Chariot ". It was their attempts to discribe something that they couldn't comprehend. That's why if you notice as mankind became more and more intelligent, God showed up less and less. Because we now know better that to call it God we now refer to it as a UFO or Lightening etc.etc.. World Governments hide the fact that every year there are approx. 1000 reports of UFO's by reliable military & airline pilots but it is covered up because Governments use religion to keep the people in order. If you will study the history of mankind at a college (not a religious one) you will have a better understanding of where our God concept came from, but religions don't want you to know.

Because Muslims got to you first.
In previoius questions you ask why if Islam is spread in wars (which is one way it spreads, but not the only way) why they aren't something else. Same reason. They were born into it.
Did YOU have a free choice.
Christians and Jews do. Some become athiests, some become other things.
No one is killed or assulted for changing. They might be insulted, but not assulated.
You are the way you are because you were born that way and decided to stay that way.
If you changed locations, went to a college, got involved with other groups and other people, especailly the Feminist movement, you MIGHT, indeed, change.
Let's take, for example:
Qu'ran [4:34]
If you experience rebellion from the women, you shall first talk to them, then (you may use negative incentives like) deserting them in bed, then you may (as a last alternative) beat them.
Here are three ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS LEADERS stating this is a TRUE statement.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWGA8i6scYY&mode=related&search=
Go watch them
The FIRST THING you have to do to PROVE how FREE you are is say THESE MEN ARE WRONG AND LIARS.
Bet you can't say that, not in public.
An American Wife can CALL the police and have her husband JAILED for beating her.
She can have him arrested for taking sex when she says NO.
This is the difference between US and YOU.
YOu can't even come out and say these IMAMs are WRONG, they are LIARS, they Don't SPEAK FOR ISLAM
You can't CALL them WRONG by NAME
To do so can bring punishment to you and your family.
Not in America.
We can say what we like.
NO woman is afriad to call the police or report her husband for "going to far."

See, you believe that nothing created God because God has always existed; I believe that nothing created the universe, because it has always existed, too, just not always in the form we see it today. Does that sound silly? Well, it is no more silly to me than your belief in an always-existing God. I can see and observe the universe; I can do experiments to learn its laws and physical properties, even on the subatomic level (or I could if I had the know-how); and I can touch the objects in it. I cannot do the same with God.

Allah Hates Pubic Hair
*******************************************************************
I'm not sure why Allah feels this way, but according to Muhammad, he does. Here's what the prophet supposedly said about it.
Five practices are characteristics of the fitrah: circumcision, shaving the pubic hairs, cutting the mustaches short, clipping the nails and plucking the hair of the armpits. (Reported in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
And although the Quran is silent on pubic hairs, it does say that everyone must do whatever Muhammad says.
And whatsoever the messenger giveth you, take it. And whatsoever he forbiddeth, abstain (from it). And keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is stern in reprisal. Quran 59:7
So Muhammad says you must shave your pubic hair, and the Quran says you must do whatever Muhammad tells you to do. Now that you know, you have no excuse.
Here are detailed instructions on just how to do it.
It's a bit complicated ("...start shaving the pubic hair from beneath the navel, and to start on the right hand side..."), so be sure to read the instructions before starting.

Lot's of people believe that god was never born and "just is". That's cool if you want to believe that. But some other people, like atheists, here that explanation and can't believe their ears. To some of us that explanation makes absolutely, positively no sense - no how - no way.
But if it works for you go right ahead. You could be right.

Many religious people argue that the universe must have been created because it exists and you can't get something where nothing existed before and we know that it hasn't always existed. They will not apply the same logic to god however. If god exists, he must have been created. They state that god was always there which is also obviously wrong.

buddhist say the answer cannot be know. we can only learn after we leave our earthly body. who can say. therefore, live a good life and work hard to enhance your karma. treat people good. treat your own people good. love them and earn their love. as you geet old and a bit weaker that will have a profound value. more valuable than gold. loyalty and love is the gold for old age. bless you and i will add this wisdom that was passed to me long ago: i know what it is like to be young, but you do not know what it is like tobe old. peace and choose the right path or learn to wait. to think to wait and to fast. discipline. lol

You have a right to your faith and the Koran just as long as you allow me the same courtesy.
Our Bible and the Koran do have different teachings; it boils down to a matter of faith as to which one you will believe.

Im personally have studied and practiced many religions in my path to "enlightenment"
What i learned was that any form of a deity is made in the mind of man. The imagination and ability to perceve such a deity is a great thing, it lets one define and answer the unanswerable.
The earliest man was not made by a deity, but the beliefe that it was lets one answer that question.
Gods and goddessess were made in the human mind, they are real ONLY in the minds of thoes who believe in them, to a christian, muslim, or jew, the pagan gods arel ies, but to a pgan, the monotheistic god is a lie and theirs are ture
They are real in the minds of thoes who follow it. thats all, they dont exist to guide ALL peopl,e only thoes who believe in it and create its reality in their mind
We create our own reality, if you believe in worshiping anything from Aton, to Zeus, it is real, but only in your mind.
