Yes, the Holy Spirit has always been a part of my life. I've always felt His presence and heard His advice. However, I was actually given the gift of the Holy Spirit where it was more pronounced when I was confirmed into my church. It is one of the most awesome feelings you can ever have.

Your question suggests you want something a bit more than just a simple answer.
Those who have received the spirit know it and might be tempted to just say yes.
Those who do not have the Spirit also know it and usually feel something is missing in their lives. Many deny that but they know who they are.
Some vehemently reject the Spirit choosing to blaspheme him by name even. We need not concern ourselves with them they have no future.
If you wish to know the Spirit ask for the Spirit to make you part of his life. We can not receive the Spirit the Spirit receives us.
An analogy for the old computer people we are to the Spirit as a TRS80 is to a Cray. Well actually that analogy falls short but they get the idea

Yes and it is absolutely wonderful. I love God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I speak in tongues fluently also.

**You know what makes me sick is the fact that Satan has more people deceived than ever, and the majority of them don't even know it. Oh, to answer the person down further on the list, It means that I have the ability to speak more than just a few words in my language with God. No, I have not had anyone interpret, I prefer to speak to my Father in private for the most part, and rarely speak in tongues loud enough for the whole church to hear, unless led by the Spirit. Part of the reason for this is the feeling that my tongues are not as advanced as others. (my own personal issue that I need to have resolved) Also, everyone in my church is filled with the Holy Spirit, including my four year old son.
Also, I saw your post to a similar question about tongues and it was a very good explanation.

Yes, all true Christians have received the Holy Spirit. My body is a temple for him.

Has anyone ever interpreted for you? Please don't speak (in any language) if you don't have anything intelligent to say... You just make those who actually know what that means, look stupid by proxy, and I really hate that!
