You need about 2gm protein/kg body weight. For example, if you are 60 kg then you should have 120 g protein per day.
The protein % for each item of food is given in the nutrition chart. Go to a website, you will find it.This chart will be found in class 9 biology book.
Good sources of protein are soyabean, paneer, urad pulse, fish, chicken, etc.
If you can afford, buy marketable protein powder.
Overeating protein won't help.

if ur going to a gym and serious abt body buidling then u can have coach's formula ...or whey protein frm Optimum Nutrition..
