I heard this is a common practice to keep the flies off the bride...Do anyone know if this is true?

Yes I heard the Chicken Catching part also...I thought I was the only one who heard of this practice...It is amazing what goes on in third world countries.

NZAU...Yes I should have paid attention more to this facinating trivia....Did you in fact catch the chicken proving your manhood or did you have to secretly provide the poop yourself. I bet if a young groom to be was quick with a slight of hand he might me able to fool the bride and her family into thinking he really did catch the chicken...albeit a huge Creamy Chocolate chicken?

The worlds fastest animal is the Ethiopian chicken. So they must first catch a chicken, and then squeeze the poop out of it, and rub it on the walls to show the brides family how fast the groom is.

I didn't know that people did that at weddings, one time at walmart someone wrote there name in with it in the bathroom. They were just being jerks though maybe one of the people at the wedding didnt want them to get married and did it.

There are many meanings for the word "poop" it was probably some misunderstanding or something, cause it's deffinitely not true... at least in the weddings i've attended...

no this is not true. ethiopians are mainly muslims. so they have muslim weddings and i have been to them befoer they do not smear feces on the walls during a wedding were the hell did u hear that?
