I just started school and bills are pilling up

i have already had braces and losing this tooth with no replacement could shift my teeth agian there for i do need a crown

Some colleges that have dental programs need people to practice on (of course a real dentist is there) and they do it for free or at a reduced cost. You could look into that or a payment plan at the dentist office or a personal loan. Good luck.

Some dentists offer a credit program similar to a credit card. Check around and find out if any dentists in your area offer this. This may help defray cost short term, but will end up costing you more in the long run. That's what I had to do b/c I don't have dental insurance either. Also, talk to them about payment plans, some will offer this option and allow you to pay a small amount every month.

Wow, sorry to hear about your problem. I would try callling the city and asking them of some programs. If there are no programs I would suggest checking out the site below.
It costs $11.95 for a month for an individual and you can save up to 80% on your dental needs.
I know a crown costs around $1,000 dollars and with them its only $550.00

From the viewpoint of "medical necessity"...no one "needs" a crown....
Dental work is only considered medically necessary when a tooth is causing other health problems, and then, the medical recommendation is extraction.....
This is why some of us have partial plates......

Go to a dental school. They will do dental work (supervised, of course!) at a low cost.

each state has a medical aid center ask medicaid or family health plus in your state area.
