well thanks for your suggestion now i have another question for you... this is one of the questions they asked me and now i am stuck on it.. " What do you want to get out of leadership class?" please answer it.

Leadership is when you can convince other people to follow you, to do what you tell them to do, and think how you want them to think. Having leadership means that you have to be a passionate speaker (even if you are not passionate about what you talk about) and you can and know how to talk about things so that even if they are false, it sounds true, that only a very smart person can tell its a lie. Having leadership means you can retain leadership while making your enemies look like they are imcompetent idiots and liars.

Do you mean the class - like a leadership class?
Ask the instructor. Do you know someone in that class that could help get you in? Ask if there is a specific process to get in. Do you need to be referred or recommended by someone in order to get in? If that is the case, talk to a teacher that would help you out. The most important thing, though, is to talk to the instructor to find out the requirements!
If you don't know who the instructor is, ask a friend, teacher, or academic counselor.

The greatest leader of all time said that to be a leader, you must be willing to be a servant. Start by volunteering your time in the field you want to lead. Give of yourself and people will start to listen to you, As you develope a following of people who believe in your point of view opportunities will be presented for you to start to run things. Small things at first will grow into bigger opportunities. Don't try to grab for the top spot right off the bat. Patience and persistence and willingness to serve will get you into leadership positions. Best of luck. Start by following the great leader.

In order to know how to lead you need to learn how to follow. Be a people person. Know the people that you are leading inside and out. What triggers them .. what do they like. What are their strenghs and weaknesses. You need to know when to be strong and when to be soft. Basicly you need to be balanced in character. Person A may not want to be treated as person B. Be attentive to detail. You need a balance.
