If I get a tattoo, it will have spiritual meaning. Problem for me being that I can't decide on one because my path is always morphing from one form into another, and after awhile my old symbols would feel outdated to me.
In a meditation once I asked the Creator for a visual symbol of itself. I got a yin-yang.
I've thought of getting a yin-yang tattoo, but it would have to look pretty neat and unique to me, because while the black/white version is most accurate to me symbolically, I don't really like the way it looks.

I wouldn't really call mine spiritual. It's a tattoo of the U.S. Marine Corps symbol. Though I guess the word spirit could also refer to the spirit of bravery in the military. That sounds a little off.

I don't have a tattoo, I am an old foggie. But I am starting to wear a pendant that has symbols from Alchemy. And yes I know what they mean.

My first one, the wreath around my bellybuttion, we a symbol of my femininity. My second one, a pentagram on my ankle, is a symbol of my pagan beliefs. My third, a crow on my shoulder, is my spirit animal. My fourth, a rose on my arm, is a memorial to my boyfriend who died. My fifth, a little man in the moon in my ear, is a cute celestial symbol. My sixth, the white horse, is for my European roots and also has pagan origins, as well as I have always been close to horses.

i have a Tibetan buddhist mantra: om mani padme hum, on my left arm.
yes, i know its spiritual meaning, but its not because i'm into tibetan buddhism. i tattooed it in memory of my eldest brother (tibetan buddhist) who passed away in 2004.
