I second what ScrapandRock said... "Estoy aqui pasándola con mis amigos" is very good. The other ways were correct, but this particular was of saying it is an excellent translation for "hanging out". It kind of means "passing time with my friends".

In the way you wrote:
Reunirte con tus amigos.
There might be some slang words used in different Spanish speaking countries but you said "in Spanish"

Well remember like English, there are many different Spanish Dialects.
One that all from a Columbian to a Puerto Rican would understand would be. "aqui pasandola".

Spanish speakers can adopt many words from English and other languages. For example in Puerto Rico we would say:
"Jangueando con mis panas"
notice- jangueando -hang out
