My fact is, I have done lots and lots. From Mescaline, to blodder, window pane, paper and on and on. I never had any physical problems unless I fell down laughing. BUT......... I had friends that just kept doubling doses to get high, and yes, I seen smart people get a little cooky. It's not an everyday kinda drug. It won't get you as high day after day, and you try to take more and that doesn't work either. I get high on nature now. It's free, legal, and is an amazing high

I am 63. LSD was discovered in Switzerland a few years before I was born.

The CIA is reported to have experimented with it unbeknownst on one man who jumped out of the window of a multi-story hotel in New York City.

When I was young a Dr. Timothy O'Leary (something like that, former Harvard psychologist???) was advocating it and many young people were trying it out. Although I heard many bad reports, I never tried any illegal drugs myself, nor did I have friends who tried them -- at least I never saw anyone try them so I could assess the effect.

However, one brainy kid did have a science project in which he gave a small amount of LSD to spiders who normally spun very good webs. The post-LSD webs were disasters, even from a non-spider point of view.

I have heard reliable reports that one has very little control over what kinds of hallucinations will occur. The length and severity is dose dependent and mistakes are made. There a 'bad' trips and the possibility of lasting damages or death, from injury as well as the LSD. Some people have horrible and grotesque hallucinations. A fly in the room could cause a person to run out into the street and dive under a bus...

These are just some few of the things that have actually occurred.

I would not ever be tempted to experiment with this, and I would avoid those who do like the plague.

If you need to find something REALLY INTERESTING, find out what your real talents are. Just keep trying things, gardening, biking, reading my blog, touring a Coast Guard Base to see if anyone does something you like.

Be constructive and helpful rather than self-poisonous or destructive.

Others have conquered very, very adverse circumstances without resorting to drugs. Whatever anyone else has done well, you can too. God and the angels always help those who ask and who are making the effort. One day when you are my age, you will also see that this help never failed.

Yes, when young one is anxious about much, but all of that is not really necessary, some of what Jesus meant when he said "Consider the lilies of the field, they toil not, neither do they reap...."

God will grant you the ultimate in stability and security, beyond that sought by the ultra-wealthy. We all have at least ONE perfect parent.

So if you feel your Father's and Mother's genes are doing battle within for now, just get on the right road and you will find peace.

Everyone finds what they are looking for. No two personalities are the same, even among a trillion worlds. God bestows a unique personality on each and all. You will find out what is right and best for you if you are patient and persevering.

Lsd has been scientifically proven to cause relapses of previous trips when on the drugs, even as much as 15 years after the drug was first taken.
It has also ruined lives. People on ths drug for only a short time were unable to function in society there after. There was one movie made about an Army guy based in Germany in the 60s(i think it was the 60s) who was one of the first volunteers for LSD. (Remember this drug was developed as a weapon. Supposely it could be dropped inot a countrys water supply and disable them. or maybe dropped in a bomb and exposure to the drug would distroy the enemy's will to fight.). This guy roamed all over the country unable to cope witht he nighmares entering his head after all those years caused by LSD. That is how it works.
I don't know of any adverse effects other mentally> Yet this results in loss of life, health, family, homes, jobs, carrers, ect.

Wikipedia has this to say about the drug.;
Lysergic acid diethylamide, commonly called LSD, LSD-25, or acid, is a semisynthetic psychedelic drug. The short form LSD comes from the German "Lysergsäure-diethylamid". While a typical single dose of LSD is between 100 and 500 micrograms—an amount roughly equal to one-tenth the mass of a grain of sand—threshold effects can be felt with as little as 20 micrograms.[1]

The effects can vary greatly depending on factors such as previous experiences, state of mind and environment, as well as dose strength. Generally, LSD causes expansion and altered experience of senses, emotions, memories, time, and awareness for 6 to 14 hours, depending on dosage and tolerance. In addition, LSD may produce visual effects such as moving geometric patterns, brilliant colors and "trails" behind moving objects. LSD does not produce hallucinations in the strict sense, but instead illusions and vivid daydream-like fantasies, in which ordinary objects and experiences take on entirely different appearances or meanings. At higher doses it can cause synesthesia and other major cognitive shifts. An LSD trip can have long term psychoemotional effects; some users cite the LSD experience as causing significant changes in their personality and life perspective.

LSD is synthesized from lysergic acid derived from ergot, a grain fungus that typically grows on rye. LSD is sensitive to oxygen, ultraviolet light, and chlorine, especially in solution (though its potency may last years if the substance is stored away from light and moisture at low temperature). In pure form it is colorless, odorless and mildly bitter. LSD is typically delivered orally, usually on a substrate such as absorbent blotter paper, a sugar cube, or gelatin. In its liquid form, it can be administered by intramuscular or intravenous injection, or even in the form of eye-drops.

Introduced by Sandoz Laboratories as a drug with various psychiatric uses, LSD quickly became a therapeutic agent that appeared to show great promise. However, the extra-medical use of the drug in Western society in the middle years of the twentieth century led to a political firestorm that resulted in the banning of the substance for medical as well as recreational and spiritual uses. Despite this, it is still considered a promising drug in some intellectual circles, and organizations such as MAPS, Heffter Research Institute and the Albert Hofmann Foundation exist to fund, encourage and coordinate research into its medical uses
