Personally, I'd put it in God's hands and trust His will be done. I'd take the risk and not terminate the pregnancy.

While this is a problem involving very deep human feelings and concerns, the perfect counsel of God shows that a potential risk to mother or child does not justify inducing an abortion.
Human views on this question are varied and often conflicting. But fundamental to the Bible view is life and respect for it. Human life has both a divine origin and a divine purpose. (Gen. 1:27; Job 33:4; Ps. 100:3-5) Throughout the Bible we see reflected God’s deep respect for life. He lovingly urged humans to treasure their lives and to respect as sacred the lives of others. One who, without regard for divine law, took the life of another human, even a babe in the womb, was both guilty and accountable.—Gen. 9:5, 6; Ex. 21:14, 22-25.
It cannot be denied that sometimes a pregnant woman faces a considerable danger. A health problem, such as diabetes, hypertension or other cardio-vascular diseases, may lead sincerely concerned doctors to conclude that her life is in jeopardy. She may be told, ‘Either have an abortion, or you will die.’ Or abortion may be recommended when it seems that the child may be born blind or deformed, such as when the mother contracts rubella (measles) during the pregnancy. Some might reason in such cases that having an abortion is actually showing respect for life. Though in no way minimizing the seriousness of such problems or the sincerity of those recommending the abortion, one should have in mind the life of both the mother and the child.

I would pray to God for guidance to show me what to do. Any number of things come into play with this. Hold old is the baby, what kind of health is the mother really in, etc.
It could be that the mother wouldn't live through the heart transplant, or would die shortly after. It could be that the baby could die during birth, and both lives would be lost.
I think, that in that case, each situation would be unique, so the mother would have to pray for guidance.
I do believe, though, that if it's God's will for the baby not to be born, He could allow a natural miscarriage where the mother wouldn't have to kill it.

I think it is best to save the mommy's life. However, let that be plan B. If possible, go and see a true man or woman of God and have them lay their hands on you. But be very careful here. Don't just go to anyone. Make sure that this is a reliable person. Having a flaky preacher lay their hands on you can be risky business. Also, take time to pray and ask God to give you the best solution possible. If your prayers are not answered, then go ahead with the doctor when the day of your appointment arrives.
May God grant you peace and show you His loving kindness and mercy.

Two factors seem obvious.
1. A suitable organ is available and you need the transplant now. If this is so proceed with the abortion immediately. There is no time to waist.
If the reason for your dilemma is the doctors won't put you on the list unless you have the abortion they are cursed of God and you are Innocent. Let God tend to them. He Will I promise you. They will die horrible deaths while knowing that their last breath will be their last anything.
If their is time ask the One who made all things to send the Angel Spontaneous Remission (the atheist doctors have called him that so much he and several thousand like him answer to the name although they have individual names) to heal you and confound the doctors.
P.S, While you are at it ask the One who made all things his name so you can use it when you need it. He will tell you from inside yourself.
I am praying to The Spirit who made all things for you.

If you decided not to terminate the pregnancy wouldn't you and the baby die anyway? sense you would die if you don't have the transplant?! wouldn't it be better to at least save one life then to let two people die? it seems there would be no way to save a baby if the mothers needs a heart transplant in order to live, and if she refused it her and the baby both would die. i would think you would have no chose but to to have a transplant. because the baby couldn't live if the mother died while pregnant.

It depends on your faith level. Since your already a born again believer, it's better to trust in God since you know your destination is Heaven. But you must be really grounded in The Word and knowing that no matter what happens, God has your back. It's our faith that pleases God. Don't trust in the wisdom of doctors but in the wisdom of God. Doctors often deliver a bad report. Faith brings a good report. Please call 1-800-600-7395 where there is a 24-7 counselor who knows The Word and is equipped to pray the prayer of faith no matter what you decide to do. To continue on while standing in faith is obviously not for everybody, but I have confidence that if you'll call that phone number and speak with them, you will get the wisdom to know what to do that will please The Holy Spirit. Remember to that He is a Good God, who is abundant in mercy and grace and He loves you so very much. PEACE!!!
Remember, The Word says, "With long life I will satisfy you," and Jesus took back the keys of death, hell, and the grave and that the devil has been put under our feet. You should be claiming that on your life and on the life of both babies.
My wife and I are praying for you. Make sure to call that number, you won't be sorry. PEACE!!!

Look, religion is important...but so is self preservation. I do not believe that one would go to hell for having a life-saving operation. It would really be up to the person to decide what to do, but think about it...if the pregnancy isn't very far along the mother might not live to give birth...both would die when one could have been saved.

I believe that anytime you terminate a pregnancy, you're committing murder. I don't believe that God gave the Drs. the discernment to know what to do in this situation, but He did give the Drs the wisdom to know how to treat illnesses. From strictly a Christian perspective, you delivery the baby, and do everything possible to keep the mother alive.

I think it would depend on how far along in the pregnancy you are and how badly you need the heart. If it can wait until after the baby is born, that would be the best. Abortion for the sake of convienience is wrong. But if it is necessary to save your life, I think God would forgive you. The fetus will go right back to God, and that can't be bad for it. :-)

If you don't get the heart transplant, would not the baby also die?
But if she gets the heart transplant, could not the mother live to make more babies?
Personally, I believe the scripture is clear that we should let ourselves be guided in peace through faith. The Gospel didn't bring with it a rulebook but a Spirit walk. In fact, it nullified the 'rulebook'. Each person must let God's Spirit guide them and God will be the judge if they did so or not.
We know the Spirit led person by their fruits, their love, faith, hope. Not by their adherence to written rules.
