I have a large investment in BA, thank God Fed Ex cancled their Airbus order, and went with Boeing. With that said, probably another 3 years.

Airbus is definitely going to continue with the A350.
They have to or they will lose a HUGE market segment to Boeing.
Airbus announced today that they have appointed a program director for the A350 program, so you know they are getting seriously geared up for development.
Last I heard, they are looking for entry into service some time in 2010.

I would think it's better of they solve all the problems with the 380 first, otherwise it would lead to a bad image for the 350.
