The low approval ratings are just another indication of how ignorant we Americans can tend to be regarding current affairs in the world.
They poll with their feelings or a party line instead of actual facts.

When a president of the United States can get a free pass after lying under oath, screwing every little intern within his reach and be just a plain old scumbag like Clinton was (and still is), and constantly attacks an honest man who has a difficult job to do, then this country is in serious trouble.

God help us all - save us from idiots, the uninformed and Democrats!

Doing a good job of bringing the world to WW3.
Why do all Americans have to back him?
A lot never even voted for him. He is a politician not a Church leader such as an Archbishop.
How do you know that he and Laura have a good marriage and what has he done to assist married couple to stay together?
I would seem to me that he has torn more families apart by sending men and women to fight a war that he lied about,to create.
He admits "The war was a mistake the responsibility rests with me." this was in a speech regarding his misinformation regarding the Iraqi situation.
He is to be more feared than favoured.
His connection with radical and right wing fundamentalist "churches"should be a great concern to all Americans.
If we in Australia are aware of these things, the people who are in America should have even more knowledge and determination to rid this person of all power. Our Prime Minister will certainly loose the next election because of his close association with Bush.
Nixon was impeached for far less.
His were not crimes against humanity.
I think you should really get your head out of the Bible and start taking notice of world affairs. With respect, I do hope you were joking!

one man and one woman!!!! Thats the last reason i would support him for. Being president is a lot harder of a job then most bush haters realize. I think he has done some things right and wrong. Defending stupid things like marriage for straight people is NOT one of them. Who the hell cares about that when we are at war???

That's the only good thing he's doing. Other than that he's not doing a great job at anything namely staying the Hell out of the Middle East.

I disagree. I only back what I feel is right according to God. If Bush says we should take The Mark of the Beast, will you back him? No, not if you're Christian. Think about it, we don't know what's really going on in Washington.

He is doing his best, He has had alot on his plate with 9/11. If he wouldn't had done anything, then he would be unpopular also. With the world the way it is and the pressure of his office, I think he is doing the best he can. People who say otherwise are just arm chair presidents who don't know the meaning of responsibility.

Me, to a degree. There are some issues on which I take serious difference, but they are the less important ones.

I think he is doing what he believes is best and I respect him for that. We can't be right all of the time but I do think he has done some good.
