First of all let say, I am so sorry.
I have looked up a lot of information for attorneys and legal guardianship. I don't know what state you live in so that made it very difficult for me to find out information for you. Here are the web sites I visited and they give lots of advice, free help, free forms, free legal advice to your email.
I hope this will help you and your children.

First of all bless your heart and I am sooooo sorry to hear this. I would talk to my doctor and see if he can advise you. Otherwise I would type up a from and make it sound legal and ask someone maybe at a bank to notorize your signature on it, that is about as legal in some states as any. Once again I am so very sorry to hear your news I do not know you but I will say a prayer for you. It is so good of you to think of doing this for your childrens sake!

I am so sorry to hear this--you can call the county government if you can't afford a lawyer and they will get you in touch with one. Prob the easiest thing is to go a courthouse and ask for a form to fill out to change guardianship. You really need to do something so your kids won't have to go into foster care. If you have money find a lawyer to draw up papers--if not go online to your states website to get a free attorney.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, go into debt and get an attorney. Life going through foster parents is awful on children (sometimes, not all). I'm sure your sister won't mind paying the rest of the debt after you (might be) gone, if that means keeping your children from being raped by a foster 'father' or something like that. Sure it might not happen, but are you willing to take the chance? Do whatever it takes to keep your children healthy and safe, even after you (might be) gone.

OK, also try this. Just keep telling your self that you aren't going to die. It's called positive affirmation. It's been scientifically proven to work. Don't let your body win over your mind.

There's a paper that you can fill out, if you go to your court house library the should be able to help you. Or you can give her power of attorney of your children write a living will and you should be okay. God Bless You

You can write a will and have it notarized at the local bank. If you want a will that is more official, but less expensive than dealing with an attorney, try legalzoom.com.

Bless you and your family through this time.

all i did was went downtown to the juvenile court and found the domestic floor just started asking questions and found out that it is pretty simple you have to give your sister guardianship they usually have all the paper work you just fill it out, Where I live this also the same part of the courthouse where you get divorces it really is not that hard if everyone is in an agreement.

there is free legal aid.ask your sister for guardianship now so that in your end your children will be with family.also get a living will now state exactly what you desire. I'm sorry that you have to make the toughest choice in your life but you obviously love your children very much.

Well, the only thing I can think of is to type up something saying you want you children to go to your sister. Then you and her both sign it in front of a notary. You can do that at your local courthouse, or the bank or anywhere like that. That is probably your best option. I hope that will help. Thanks
