Back then, during A.D. with Christianly just starting to spread its wings, people were starting to follow. When Martin Luther was tired of the Catholic Church selling papules which promised those who bought them to purgatory/heaven. He was angry by this, and when John Calvin believed we were predestined to go to Hell or Heaven, people were more frightened. The persist of any religion threaten their congregation of going to hell and what will happen if you go to hell, they didn’t talk a lot about good things from the bible, they didn’t talk about Jesus as much. They were pretty much in depth of hell and hell remained.

Christianly was so popular not only because Jesus was the Son God, not only was he friends with the poor and healed the ill, he was a man. Just as we all are. Now in our time, we don’t hear a lot in church of going to hell. Instead we are told about what we should do in our lives to help others, to learn the gospel and Old Testament. Our society isn’t so fascinated at hell as our society was before.

Christianity just isn’t having a big role on people anymore. Science has been proving that there is no God. People are believing science, not many miracles have occurred yet in our lifetime. Not many girls can say they are a virgin and they are delivering a child, or I prayed to God and God told me to do this. No, we label those people that are obsessed with seeing/talking to God as psychotic people, why because our society will treat them that way.

We do not involve the 10 Commandments, or Jesus’ teaching throughout our daily lives, sure we are loyal to our spouses, we do not kill, and we help the poor. But we don’t do so much. Christianity lost a lot of followers, and because of the lost of followers their children or friends and family might lose their faith as well.
I hope this helped!

Well religion thats a curious word. If you ask Americans are you Christian 85% of them will answer Yes. Its already a poll taken last year. Its not about a religion its about a relationship. A relationship with a God that loves you and wants to spend eternity with you. And to Melanie wake up and smell the coffee babe they have been trying to discredit Jesus and the Bible for over 2000 years. The Romans tried to destroy Christianity it just grew stronger. And if Christianity just to entertain you is fading can you tell me why still today the Bible is still year after year the best selling book of all time? Rest my case. Repent and be saved today is the day of salvation. God Bless.

The true gospel has been taken over by a false gospel. And most people are following after the fasle one. Which actually looks like the real gospel, but is a counterfiet. The counterfiet gospel is a weak and destructive gospel which makes weak converts. Someone who is truly saved or born again has heard the true gospel and received it and they will be the ones who God uses to spread the true gospel. The gospel and christianity is not fading away but the truth isn't being taught in the churches as we know them. But God says that few will find it and that many will follow the path of destruction. Mathew 10:21-23 Not everybody that says Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he that does the will of the Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me Lord, Lord we have cast out demons in your name and prophesied in your name and did great works in your name and Jesus will say to them, I never Knew you, get away from me workers of wickedness. These are the millions of professing christians that He will reject because they never knew Him to begin with. They were not ever born again spiritually. They just thought they were because they received the false chrisitian gospel that decieved them.

No, i imagine truly interior the U. S., Christianity is at an all time extreme, or on the fringe of it, I recommend those who're truly dedicated, not in simple terms going to church because their moms and dads did, or because the guy up the line does, yet who've a finished dedication. for sure collectively, there are as many if no extra who're agnostic or atheist and should be extra vocal than they once were, customarily because they react to the outspoken Christians, truly the non secular proper. yet all Christians are literally not with the non secular proper and many are extra tolerant, etc. than some others. it isn't demise, yet a number of the older congregations or perhaps denominations should be going out, in elect of the more moderen, livelier church homes with Christian Rock, etc. Even Mega church homes. it received't die, yet ought to replace type from the classic congregations to more moderen varieties. maximum of the individuals who visit three of the church homes that play Christian Rock or cutting-edge Christian song or regardless of are of their 40's, 50;s or perhaps older. So the more youthful human beings arising may have this, or more moderen issues. yet there are a large number of dedicated youngsters in church homes now, as well as many youngsters, like in all eras, who want not something to do with any church yet ought to replace later in existence.

On the contrary there are two billion professing Christians in the world. Twice as many Christians than there are Muslims which make up the second largest religion.

Now, Christianity may by thriving, but the teachings of Christ are not. Most of these Christians bow down to the unscriptural teachings of organized money grabbers, and personal kingdom builders who want you to believe that God is going to torture people in fire forever. Most assuredly not scriptural.

It started in the 60's. With the God is dead movement. The supreme court had stated their decisions were above Gods. So you have now civil rights. Judges who are making some of the strangest decisions. No absolutes. No sin. no nuthing. except for those who believe in Jesus. But, there is a great Christian revival going on all over the world. Just UN published by the news media. conversions, healings, miracles. It is a wonderful thing. God is neither dead nor inactive. As always He is there to answer those who call upon Him.

Because in the last days (2 Peter 3:3) scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

Just understand that these are the last days. Do not be a scoffer of the warnings of the Bible(the word of God).

Times were a lot harder in the "old days". Ever hear of the "Dirty Thirties. This is not talking about sex, this is talking about people starving. We live in countries were there is a problem with morbid obeisity, and even children are over weight. We are well past the heaven that people dreamed about two thousand years ago. People think they have nothing to thank God for.

Has it? As long as people ask the correct question. As far as I can see, we all need Him more today than ever. Sometimes people try to fill their lives with things, stuff and people. And if you are fortunate God shows us; His way is definitely not our ways. His time is also is not dependent on us, but us dependent on Him. Just like all children are on parents. Go figure!!

Anyone from any religion can be religious. I'm Pagan and very religious.

I think the reason why Christianity is becoming less popular is because people are becoming more open minded; are educating themselves instead of having a single book do it for them. Because of this, people are discovering new options that fit their personal beliefs.
